Track-Control History

Track-Control History

GPS-controlled plough steering for perfectly straight ploughing has been available for quite some time now. However, the market asked us for a plough steering system, without the disadvantages of current systems. It was time to bundle knowledge and experience about GPS, electronic control, ease of operation and ploughing. A logical consequence was the cooperation between Risseeuw Techniek in Schoondijke and LMB Vermeulen BV in Oostburg.

Pieter Risseeuw has been developing specific electronic applications for agricultural mechanisation for years and is also an arable farmer. Patrick Uitdewilligen is the GPS specialist of LMB Vermeulen BV and also an arable farmer. In the autumn of 2012, Pieter and Patrick developed and extensively tested a new plough control system on the wet clay of Zeeland. The system could be introduced in January 2013: Track-Control plough steering was born!

Over the years the system has been further developed and improved. Meanwhile there are plough steering systems running in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Denmark and Canada.

Meanwhile, the Track-Control range has been expanded with Implement and Level control. This will be further developed in the coming period.
